Ananda Meditation® Teacher

Today there is much talk about meditation, but the true essence of this practice often mystifies.

Meditation is a state of consciousness, and at the same time it is also the practice that leads to that state of consciousness.

Regular practice of meditation brings benefits on all levels: physical, mental, emotional and spiritual.

Meditation is a practice through which one can experience life from one’s center, suffering less from the conditioning that comes from external inputs.

I started practicing many years ago and, over the years, I have experimented with different techniques. Since 2016, when I encountered and embraced the teachings of Paramhansa Yogananda, meditation has taken on a whole new aspect in my life.

The technique I teach, the ancient “Hong Sau” technique, found in the Upanishads, was transmitted by Paramhansa Yogananda as part of the path of Kriya Yoga.

The purpose of this practice is to slow the mind, internalize energy and calm the breath in order to expand Consciousness.

Paramhansa Yogananda’s quotes on meditation (and more):

Meditate more and more deeply, until calmness and joy become second nature to you

By the practice of meditation, you will find that you are carrying within your heart a portable paradise

You must learn to stand unshaken amidst the crash of breaking worlds
